I teach Usui Reiki, with a lineage tracing back to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. My trainings are grounded in traditional Usui Reiki Ryōhō with a modern, practical approach that helps make the teachings accessible and relevant to everyday life.

Yes — you’re very welcome whether you completed Reiki Level 1 with me or another teacher. As teaching styles and course content can vary greatly from teacher to teacher, I’m also happy to arrange a Zoom call beforehand, so you can check the training feels like a good fit for you. After booking, you’ll also receive access to my Level 1 resource library, so you can familiarise yourself with the way I teach before the training begins.

Level 1 focuses on opening your connection to Reiki and learning the foundations of working with the energy, both for yourself and others. Level 2 builds on these foundations, helping to deepen your connection with Reiki while introducing more advanced practices, including symbols, mantras, chakra balancing, intuitive techniques, and distance Reiki. Many people find Level 2 strengthens both their confidence and sensitivity when working with energy, while also opening the door to offering Reiki professionally if this path feels aligned.

You’ll receive an Usui Reiki Level 2 certification upon completion of the training. Level 2 is generally required for those wishing to practise Reiki professionally. Online Reiki training is now widely taught and accepted within the international Reiki community. However, requirements can vary between different Reiki associations, professional bodies, and insurance providers, particularly within the UK. If professional recognition is important to you, it’s always best to check directly with the organisation you plan to register with beforehand.

Trainings are held in small groups of around 4–8 students. This allows plenty of time for questions and individual support. Private one-to-one trainings are also available on request.

Yes — in my experience, online attunements can be just as impactful as those received in-person. I’ve both given and received attunements online many times over the years, and have consistently found them to be deeply felt and effective experiences. While the overall experience of online and in-person trainings is naturally different, the energetic connection and depth of the attunement itself is not diminished by the online format.

The core teachings, guided self-practices, partner exercises, and attunements all translate very naturally into an online format, and many people enjoy learning from the comfort of their own home. All classes are taught live via Zoom in a small, interactive group, so you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalised support throughout the training. You’re also very welcome to ask questions via email between classes, and after the training ends. The main difference is that partner practices take place using distance Reiki during the live classes. For your in-person treatments outside of the live sessions, you’ll receive guided video resources to follow along with.

You'll have access to recordings of each live class, however these trainings are designed to be interactive experiences, and attendance at the live classes is strongly encouraged. Attunements, partner practices, group discussions, and real-time guidance form an important part of the training process and cannot always be fully replicated through replays alone. As Reiki is an unregulated industry, online training formats can vary greatly from teacher to teacher. Some trainings are fully self-paced and pre-recorded, while others are taught live online across anything from a single day to multiple weeks or months. These Reiki Level 2 trainings include four live classes taught via Zoom across two weekends. Reiki Level 2 introduces a significant amount of new material, including symbols and mantras, chakra balancing, distance healing, and more advanced intuitive techniques. Spacing the training across multiple live sessions allows time for the teachings and attunements to settle more deeply, while creating space for practice, discussion, and individual support throughout the training. After many years of teaching, I’ve found this structure creates a balanced and supportive learning experience that leaves people feeling clear and confident in their Reiki practice.
